    Namdhari Seeds established at Namdhari Farms at Bidadi, Karnantaka, India.

    Began Contract Seed Production with American and Japanese companies (Melons & tomatoes)

    Hybrid NS 815 tomato revolutionizes tomato production in India

  • 1992-93

    Started working with Japanese companies with a focus on Cucurbita Maxima, Cucurbita Moschata and Cucurbita Sativus

  • 1993

    Hybrid watermelon takes over the Indian market due to growing across agro-climatic seasons

  • 1993-94

    Seeds production and vegetable farming begins in Ooty, Nilgiris farm

  • 1995

    Started production of tomatoes for large American processing companies and greenhouse cucumbers that covered upto 80% of Japanese Greenhouse Markets First 2 foreign offices in Thailand & Jordan, followed by Egypt

    First ever vegetable export to England and Middle East
